The Miyajima Public Aquarium is located on Miyajima Island in Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan. The aquarium features over 10,000 marine animals of 350 different species including dolphins, sea lions, and penguins. The aquarium also includes a large outdoor pool where visitors can watch dolphin and sea lion shows.

In the surrounding area, visitors can explore the famous Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its iconic torii gate that appears to float on the water during high tide. The cable car to the top of the mountain operates from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and costs 1,800 yen for a round-trip ticket.
